Last years higlights:
The Big Photo Show is a multi-sensory experience where photo enthusiasts and professionals can see, touch, and explore the latest products rather than simply reading about them. Everything is designed to deepen and enhance your relationship with the entire photography experience – from image capture to image output.
The Big Photo Show offers hands on experience with exhibits from many of the top camera/accessory/software/equipment manufacturers, which allow photo enthusiasts to see, touch and try the latest innovations available — while speaking face-to-face with the people who produce them. Come and meet companies like Sony, Sigma, Fujifilm and Tamron, and many others. The best equipment dealers in the area will also be on hand, like Samy’s Camera, Paul’s Photo, Tuttle’s Camera and Fromex, offering great deals on all the equipment you need.
There are two Education Theaters, offering more than 25 photo education sessions, where leading photography instructors, all professional photographers themselves, share their knowledge on an array of imaging techniques. Classes are available for people of all levels of ability, from new photo buffs, to intermediate, to advanced photographers. (Advanced level sessions are new this year). Among the many renowned instructors are Erin Manning from the DIY Network, celebrity photographer Clay Blackmore, and former White House photographer Kevin Gilbert.
Beside these two main lines there will be The Shooting Zone, which offers shooting arenas where attendees can photograph live models and a Creative Product Zone, where attendees can discover everything they never knew was possible to do with their images.
Also there will be a photography competition. Photo Challenge 2 – Seriously Fun Photography.
