Cool Summer Night at Desert

‘ “I asked him if it were a mirage, and he said yes. I said it was a dream, and he agreed, But said it was the desert’s dream not his. – Neil Gaiman”

Milky Way and Joshua Tree

Lone tree beneath milky way

It is funny I don’t like hot weather but I think in years I become addicted to Desert. I went them lots of times and probably I will be there  again.

Old truck abandoned in time

Ruins of an old truck, just sitting in the middle of the Harsh Desert of Joshua Tree National Park under star lights.

In first sight when you arrive from the city it looks desolated, silent and forgotten. And by time your senses start to feel again. You can here the lack of city noise. You can hear wind, you can here earth. Everything is alive around you. And I don’t have enough words to exlpain how I feel beneath a night sky obliterated with hundreds of thousands of fiery twinkling skies. At the desert, when the sun goes down…I couldn’t tell where heaven stopped and the Earth began.
