It is close to White Tank Campground and easy hike for everyone. To reach the trail head, enter White Tank Campground. The trail begins alongside campsite nine, and there is day use parking near site fifteen (at the end of the loop). (more bput Joshua Tree NP campgrounds here )

The arch is an eighth of a mile up the half mile trail and easy to spot. Take your time getting there and read the placards along the trail that describe the geological history that contributed to the creation of the arch.
